We invite you to another public meeting of tenants and tenants in Prague. What will it be about this time? 📈
In a situation where most of us are dependent on the satisfaction of these basic market needs, controlled largely by private corporations, it is difficult to defend this growth effectively. 🤺
Even traditional methods of defense of real income of working people, such as trade union organization or state redistribution through electoral policy, encounter significant limits and are pushed into the defensive.
👀 How to get out of it? One of the historically proven strategies is the development of so -called solidarity economies: building their own systems of providing needs independent of capitalist markets. These can be the source of resistance and strength towards private capital or state, as well as a model and laboratory of positive changes in a wider economic arrangement.
🔍 Are the current strategies of the solidarity economy in the Czech Republic? What could their synergies look like with the organization of tenants? And what would solidary housing look like?
