🎭Performing Arts Management Symposium (PAMS), an annual symposium organized by the DAMU Department of Production. It opens current topics of live art management and is intended for students as well as professionals and the general public. PAMS 2024 is organized with the support of the Czech-German Future Fund, AMU, DAMU. In collaboration with PDFNJ and Atriem Žižkov.
✨ As the name INNOVARTS: Navigating the Future of Arts Management already suggests, we will focus on the future – competence of the upcoming generation of theater professionals and the sources of inspiration that Czech theater can look for in the context of today's Europe with an emphasis on German-speaking countries.
💡3 thematic blocks, in which presentations by domestic and foreign guests and a subsequent panel discussion will take place. The program will also include practical workshops on selected topics.
🔸BLOK INDUSTRY PROGRAM
In the Czech theater environment (unlike the film environment), we still do not often meet the industry program. However, it is widely developed abroad. What does it actually consist of and why is it important for the development of theater? Do we miss this initiative in the Czech Republic and what can we learn from it?
🔸BLOK BEST PRACTICES FOREIGN CO-PRODUCTION
When we talk about the future and development, international cooperation cannot be neglected. A prime example of an international project is the performance of Ophelia's got talent by the Volksbuhne in Berlin, which was a German-Austrian-Dutch-Swiss co-production. How can we be inspired in these aspects here? How to join or initiate co-productions?

Artificial intelligence is currently a hot topic and it is clear why: as a revolutionary tool, it confronts us with the future. We can already see today that it finds a field of activity in almost every field. How to use AI in artistic practice? Can technology replace human creativity?
🌍The invitation was accepted by guests from the German Volksbuhne and Schaubühne, the head of the international cooperation department of IDU Martina Pecková, the Slovak author in the field of electronic literature Zuzana Husárová and the head of industry of the program for KVIFF Hugo Rosák. Other guests will be introduced gradually.
📅 The two-day symposium will take place on December 5 and 6 in the Atrium Žižkov cultural center. Registration is free.
