INSPIRA – Photography Retreat with Jaqueline Louan

INSPIRA is my heartfelt project and the very first time I am teaching my own photographic practice. It is so much more than a technical workshop – it is about connecting more deeply with yourself, with the world around you, and with your artistic voice. This retreat is an invitation to follow your vision with courage.

🌹What to expect: A symphonic journey in four chapters
✨Chapter 1: The Art of Self-Portraiture
On day one, you’ll create your own world of imagery. Step by step, you’ll learn how to use camera, setting, props, and atmosphere to craft authentic self-portraits – supported by an inspiration map sent beforehand.
✨Chapter 2: Muse in Motion – Light & Fabric Alchemy
Day two brings you into collaboration with my unique Muses – not conventional models, but expressive beings who inspire. You’ll dive into working with natural light, fabrics, props, and movement, creating atmospheric, storytelling images.
✨Chapter 3: Collective Creation – Artist and Muse
On day three you will step into both roles: artist and muse. This day is all about creating pictures with a whole group. Together, we’ll co-create an atmospheric group scene, after which you’ll stage and photograph your own vision – supported with guidance in both directing and photographing. Autonomy is at the heart of this process.
✨Chapter 4: Online Afterglow – The Art of Editing
About one month later, you’ll join a live online editing session. I will demonstrate her editing process using one of the retreat’s group images – either live via Zoom or via the recorded replay. I will transparently share my Lightroom, Photoshop, and Camera RAW techniques.
