THE WORKSHOP IS BEING MOVED DUE TO HEALTH REASONS.
WE WILL NOTIFY YOU ABOUT THE REPLACEMENT DATE.
Experience the interactive workshop "How a magazine is created" led by editor-in-chief Laura Bilíková and creative manager Laura Dimová from the Art and Culture Magazine HMOTA, which was created from a student magazine. You will learn how such a magazine is created, what is needed for its creation and how the creative process takes place from the title to printing. You will try brainstorming ideas and transforming them into something tangible.
About the HMOTA project:
HMOTA is a community medium focused on the reflection of art and culture through the eyes of the young generation. Since 2019, it has been operating as the only medium in Slovakia that publishes exclusively the work and texts of young people, therefore it has a unique and irreplaceable place in the Slovak media space. HMOTA started as a student magazine, founded by Laura Bilíková, then a seventeen-year-old student from Trenčín. Over the years, the collective under her leadership published up to 14 issues, which received several awards for the content and visual form of the magazine. Since 2022, he has been leading the project together with creative manager Laura Dimová.
