Interpretation of a work of art - university doctoral workshop

Workshop entitled Interpretation of a work of art - assumptions, procedures and applications is aimed at deepening the general assumptions of the interpretation of a work of art. In the first part, attention would be focused on explaining what interpretation is, what modalities of interpretation we know, what role the theoretical framework plays in the constitution of interpretive methods and approaches, etc. In addition, different types of interpretations would also come into focus, such as musical score and performance, dramatic text and production, etc., but also radical forms of interpretation, when, for example, a film work interprets an image, a work of art finds its continuation in a work of music, a work of literature interprets a film, etc.
In the second part, attention would be focused on the problems associated with the interpretation of a literary work, a work of art, a work of music, a dramatic works etc. and their use in various scientific fields and their applied forms, in the artistic environment, but also in formal and informal education, museum and gallery pedagogy, or in the field of marketing and management of culture and tourism.

The workshop is also open to the public and participation is welcome!
