The band Intimspray, founded in 1979 by Heinz D .Heislem, was one of the prominent figures of the German new wave scene with an unmistakable sound combining elements of reggae, post-punk and ska. In the 1980s, she performed in iconic clubs across Europe, such as Munich's Olympic Hall, Hamburg's Onkel Pö and Vienna's U4, where she quickly gained a following thanks to her politically and satirically-infused lyrics in both German and English, and had the opportunity to share the stage with icons such as B52's, DAF, Soft Cell, Stray Cats, Heaven 17 and Nina Hagen. After disbanding in 1984, the members of Intimspray reunited in 2018, experiencing a surprise return to the scene with concerts in Viennese clubs and new recordings. The band continues to perform live, attracting new audiences and staying true to their original style, reviving the original essence of the German new wave era.

Verkauf Musique is a Prague punk band that bases its music on fast rhythms, sharp guitar riffs and minimalist, satirical lyrics mostly in German. Their style draws from German punk and experimental influences from the 80s, focusing on combining simplicity with a distinct depth of thought. The themes of the songs often reflect criticism of society and use irony. On the latest album Die Speisekarte (2023), the band develops their sound on vinyl and digital formats, offering fans a unique experience, combining the raw energy of punk with a timeless insularity
