Spend the Magic Jazz Christmas Night with a colorful Jazz evening, presenting music full of interesting stories and famous Jazz Standards.
A band from the Berlin scene featuring young and talented saxophonist Thomas Hahn together with an all Italian groovy rhythm section includes swinging pianist Alessandro di Puccio, virtuoso bassist Carmelo Leotta and expressive international drummer Andrea Marcelli. Expect Latin rhythms, Blues and a lot of swing!!

Thomas HÄHNLEIN (saxophonist) had appearances as a guest Clarinet soloist with the Thüringen Philharmonie. In 2016 he graduated in Amsterdam, where he studied under Dick Oatts, Jerry Bergonzi, Rick Margitza, Jeff Tain Watts, Peter Erskine who helped shape his musical identity.
Thomas and his ensembles were awarded with numerous awards such as a first prize at "Wayne Shorter Wettbewerb" (University of Music Würzburg), a promotion prize at "Hansjürg Hensler Wettbewerb" (Kempten) and a second prize at "Expression of Art Award" (Amsterdam). From 2017-2018, he also received a DAAD-scholarship for his studies in Amsterdam.
In his own projects, he focuses on Contemporary Jazz and Modern Creative with strong roots in the jazz tradition.

From the early '80s, he has played in the most important clubs, festivals and exhibitions in Italy and Europe, with jazz and world music musicians, like: Toots Thielemans, Albert Mangelsdorff, Mal Waldron, Stefano Bollani, Antonello Salis, Sal Nistico, Massimo Urbani, Tiziana Ghiglioni, Pietro Tonolo, Gianluigi Trovesi, Marco Tamburini, Paolo Birro, The Musipolitana orchestra, Bruno Tommaso, Enrico Pieranunzi, Luca Flores, Gianni Cazzola, Fabio Morgera, Franco D'Andrea, Larry Nocella, Rita Marcotulli, Alberto Marsico and SCOTT HAMILTON,

He has conducted and written compositions and arrangements for jazz orchestras and music for theatrical works.
He has founded together with other artists (photographers, musicians, painters and video makers) the Collective Fu.Ori.
They have been presented on numerous occasions including editions of the Florentine Jazz Festival “Settembre in Piazza della Passera” of which Alessandro is the artistic director since 2001.
He has held seminars on Improvisation in jazz in several Italian music schools and Conservatories.
From 1986 to 2017 he was the Teaching Director of the Jazz School Centro Attività Musicali and from 1986 to 2003 also of the Municipal Jazz School of Scandicci (FI) and the Jazz Department of the Accademia Musicale in Florence and the Silence JAM Arts Centre in Florence.

CARMELO LEOTTA - BASS, professional musician since 1999.
In 2005 he met Bobby Durham and he joined his trio with Massimo Faraò until Durham sadly passed away, in 2008.
Then he stayed on the high level italian jazz scene, frequently touring with famous american jazz musician as
Archie Sheep, Benny Golson, Jimmy Cobb, Mickey Rocker, Michelle Hendrix and others.
He also played with: Archie Shepp, Albert "Tootie" Heath, Eliot Zigmund, Joey De Francesco, Irio de Paula, Flavio Boltro,
Fabrizio Bosso, Antonio Zambrini, Eugenio Finardi and others.
In 2014 he moved to Berlin, where he actually lives, and was right away involved in many international musical projects.
He worked as arranger, 2006 for Alberti Theatre, in Desenzano (BS, Italy), in 2007 for the municipal theatre of CasalPusterlengo (PC, Italy) and for the big band “VR Improvisers”, in Verona (Italy), and in 2008 for Unity Music LLC (California, U.S.).

ANDREA MARCELLI (1962, Rom) Schlagzeuger
Von 1989 bis 1997 lebte er in Los Angeles, danach vier Jahre in New York.
Seit 2001 ist Marcelli in Berlin, wo er am Film „Good Bye Lenin“ mitwirkt
und mehrere Jazz Auszeichnungen erhält. Er hat bis jetzt über 200 eigene
Kompositionen aufgenommen. Zwei seiner Kompositionen finden Eingang
in die bedeutende Sammlung "The European Real Book“ und "The Digital
Real Book part 2".
Er spielt in den USA, Kanada, Japan, Indien, Brasilien, Indonesien, Hong Kong,
China, all over Europe, Afrika und viele andere.
Mit: Wayne Shorter, Don Menza, Bob Mintzer, Mike Stern, Bob Berg,
Eddie Gomez, Allan Holdsworth, John Patitucci, David Liebman,
Ekkehard Wölk, Markus Stockhausen, Ralph Towner, Eberhard Weber,
Frank Gambale, Hiram Bullock, Harold Land und viele andere.
Als Bandleader veröffentlicht Marcelli vier Alben mit eigenen Kompositionen:
