Have you recently started caring for someone else? Or have you been an informal caregiver for a while and do you notice that more and more tasks are being added? Before you know it, you are the indispensable pillar of support for your parents, your neighbor or a good friend who needs care. This is how you slowly ease into it: you are providing informal care!

What is involved in caring for someone else? In this workshop we will help you keep an overview.

We will discuss practical matters, such as arranging home care and organizing care so that you do not miss out on yourself.

- What is your story? And that of others?
- What does informal care entail?
- Your feelings and expectations.
- The 4 laws from which care is financed
- What support is there for the care recipient and for yourself?
- Where can you go for practical help?
Of course there is also plenty of time to ask all your questions and exchange experiences!

By gaining insight into how care is organized and what is possible, you can arrange matters more specifically and ask for help in time before it becomes too much.

For whom?
For Amsterdam residents who have not been caring for a loved one for very long and want more insight into their role and the options for support. And for informal caregivers who have been caring for some time, but now need support.
