About event
AVE LAB” is the scenic musical project starring the singer and actress Iria Braga.
This wide-winged and sonically multifaceted project has Brazilian popular music as its central axis. After touring Brazil, Argentina, USA and Europe, the show arrives in Lisbon and has as guest the great musician, Rocho 7Cordas.
The show-project, like a bird, flies across borders to produce works with musicians/ unknown musicians from different places. “AVE LAB” became a work in progress style show that changes with each guest artist. “Creation is reinvented and it is not just about reproducing a repertoire, but about bringing worlds together and keeping music moving”, says the singer.
Iria is a singer-actress who elevates music to a unique and authentic expressive and interpretation potential. Between songs from the singer's first album, a repertoire by artists from her hometown - Curitiba, southern Brazil - and reinterpretations of important Brazilian names such as Egberto Gismonti, Gonzaguinha and Djavan, the concert is a visceral and virtuous encounter that explores relationships and expressive possibilities of two instruments - in this edition, the voice and the guitar.
Maintaining tradition and receiving contemporary cultural influences, the show is a lively environment that aims to involve and promote a sensorial experience at audience.
