👨💻 Who is Martin Pročka?
Martin Pročka has been working in Iceland for 6 years. During that time, he created the Eyja Adventures project, a Facebook page that is probably the only one in Slovakia (and probably also in the Czech Republic) that provides minute by minute information on what is happening on the island, especially in the case of eruptions. Thanks to this, his site has gained popularity and attracted a strong community of Iceland lovers and those who live there and always want fresh information in one place, what is happening there. The author's first book, Iceland - A Unique Island, deals with the geology of the island and managed to sell out even before the book's launch and was awarded as the second best book by Turca in its category. This success motivated him to write another book about the discovery of the island, which focuses on the first explorers of the island, the Vikings and folk tales. Subsequently, he published his third book, a travelogue, which is about everything possible and impossible that he experienced during his travels around the island during his 53,000 kilometers that he traveled here. And sometimes it was even on the edge of the law. During his lecture, he will focus on how he managed to drown his car, and this story has become the main part of his new book.
