ISRAEL FERNÁNDEZ Y EL RELOJERO | DeCajón!

Here is a beautiful and exciting project born, as its title indicates, for love of singing. It is about the history of passion and friendship that the singer Israel Fernández forged with the Madrid guitarist Antonio El Watchmaker, whom he met by chance in a flamenco contest in which both ended up winning the first prize. Since then, Fernández was in love with the touch and the overflowing fans of The Watchmaker, whose musical universe converges with that of Israel. Together they navigate the voices of Chacón, Pastora, Mojama, Carbonerillo, Luque, Corruco, La Pompi and Isabelita de Jerez, among many others, and by the guitars of Niño Ricardo, Montoya, Miguel Borrull and Manolo de Badajoz. For years, Israel pursued this project hard, but Antonio could never accept the proposal because he did not dedicate himself professionally to flamenco and, in addition, he was in the care of his mother. Finally, when reuniting in 2023, after the death of Antonio's mother, they undertook, this time, this trip to connect with the deepest flamenco fans, that of the flamenco clubs. All for love of singing.
