The world probably knows Ukrainian feminists mainly through the Femen movement. Since February 2022, we also see how many Ukrainian women have been defending their country. But do you know the history of the Ukrainian women's emancipation movement and its origins? Do you know such names as Natalia Kobrynska, Olga Kobylyanska or Lesya Ukrainka? Do you know that these women, like feminist in Slovakia, were active in literary circles? Perhaps when talking to Valery Yunikova's translator and Anna Sedych's poet, we will discover parallels between Ukraine and Slovakia, which are still not very well known in our country.

The event will be bilingual - Ukrainian and Slovak.
