Dear lovers of Frankovka blue and rose vie,
After the successful three years, we cordially invite you to the event “IV. Weekend of Račian Frankovky and pink wines”, which will take place 13. and 14. 6. 2024 from 16: 00-22: 00 In the wine garden of the Kolonič Curia at Nám. A. Hlinka 4 in Rača. At our event you will be able to taste selected wines exclusively from Račianske vinohrady. Urbana (May 25) The meeting of the city council, whose members assessed the quality of red wine from Prešporka and Račišdorf. Based on this event, we want to honor this exceptional variety. The uniform name Blaufränkisch (in Slovak translation Frankovka Modrá). According to archive documents, this happened because Račian priest Radochanyi donated the Emperor's keg of Račian Frankovka. The wine was supposed to have benefited that she had discount a part of the wine tax and gave the pastor. Some doctors also recognize it as an antioxidant drink with anti -cancer effects.
