About event

In the era of silent film, there was a film performance of productions of a different cultural type than we know today. Before the spectators in the cinemas lonely with a "technical can", they could always expect a unique experience of living musical accompaniment, lively, or inserted scenic outputs, whether music, dance, or cabaret. Just as they could look forward to a favorite commentator. When they went to the cinema in the evening, they could see the film disregarding at quite a different speed than if they were going to the cinema in the afternoon, or to handle two movies in the same time, but at a frantic pace. If they visited a luxury cinema with multiple projectors, they saw the film in one haul, but in the so -called "one -eyed" cinemas with one projector it was always a performance full of breaks, as they dictated the need to deploy another episode in the projector. The lecture will remind the forgotten form of such performances.
