🔺 How much are we from a nuclear conflict today? And how did the role of nuclear weapons change from Hiroshima to the present? A lecture on the transformations of geopolitics and new technologies that can rewrite the rules of the game. Against the background of historical facts, we will focus on issues associated with the existence of a nuclear arsenal, deterioration and nuclear level strategies. He graduated from international relations at the Faculty of Arts, Charles University, and also graduated from international economic relations at the University of Economics in Prague. Since 2005 he has been a lecturer at the Department of International Relations of the FSV UK, where he focuses and the security issues of nuclear weapons and their influence on international relations.

The knowledge of the divisibility of atom and the instability of the nuclei, for which we use the concept of radioactivity, has fundamentally influenced the history of the twentieth century. It led to the launch of the Manhattan project on the development of an atomic bomb. The nuclear armament races were a key element of the Cold War and the question of their (not) spreading is moving world politics. Czech history was noted by Uranus mining in Jáchymov and disputes over nuclear energy. At present, the core is again up to date, with great possibilities and threats associated with it. We can better understand the situation of Czech society today?
