"Can A Man Cry" - that's the title of the debut album by Jah Lil, one of the most promising new Jamaican reggae artists.
He represents a young generation that has shed old dogmas and is not afraid to show a vulnerable side.
Last year he impressed, among others, at Summerjam and Rototom Sunsplash, the largest European reggae festivals. In the legendary RIDDIM readers' poll he was voted Newcomer of the Year 2024. His soulful, powerful and touching vocals, his wide range of melodies, and his sophisticated lyrics make Jah Lil the beacon of hope for a young roots guard. In October he will be going on a major European tour with his band for the first time to, among other things, present his new album, which will be released in September.
