Instructors in learning field 4 know the importance of the voice as one of the most important professional tools: it connects and is a key to successful relationships in childhood education. Anyone who trusts their own voice can give children support, inspire them, regulate emotions and create spaces of security. We also open up the world of songs, rhymes and stories to the children. But how can one’s own voice be discovered, given a positive impact and developed during training/studies? Nadja Dehn explains how technical school teachers can support and empower their classes even without a trained voice and what means can help keep a voice healthy, relaxed and capable of singing. She passes on professional knowledge and skills for speaking and singing, based on the principle: "Every voice is beautiful and every voice is valuable!"
