About event
What is a poster, and where can such a poster hang? And what is it for? And why is it hanging in the Museum, when the films he drew attention to are no longer in cinemas?
At the Identity exhibition, a large part of the exhibition is dedicated to the poster. The poster is a traditional graphic design format as well as a contemporary means of visual communication. During the workshop, children and their parents will look at inspiring examples of Czech and Czechoslovakian poster creation, think about which poster caught their attention the most and why. Subsequently, during creative tasks, they will try out themselves what is involved in working with text and images and how different things can be experimented with when creating posters. Parents can join in the creation, or in the meantime they can go and view the exhibition in peace.
The workshop will be led by lecturer Karolína Voleská.
Suitable for children aged 10–12.
