Jak vznikal Klimatický plán Prahy?
How was the Climate Plan of Prague created?
Event by: Studentský spolek Mater Nostra
Location: Faculty of Law, náměstí Curieových 7, Praha 1
About event
In 2021, Prague approved an ambitious document to help the city decarbonize and adapt to climate change.
How did it happen that this document was created in climate-conservative Prague? Who was there and who wasn't? What must happen so that similar material does not end up in a drawer? And what are the lessons from this for future public politicians not only in the capital?
The results of their research, which was created as part of the GAČR project "Under Pressure: crisis, emotions and political transformation around climate change", will be presented Karel Čada (FHS UK, VŠE) and Eva M. Hejzlarová (FSV UK). The panel will also feature Tereza Líbová (Environmental Protection Department of the HMP Municipality) and Daniel Vondrouš (external editor of the Climate Plan). The debate is moderated by Petra Kolínská, a member of the Mater Nostra association and director of the Green Circle.
The debate takes place in cooperation with the Green Circle.
The debate is being held with the financial support of the Capital City of Prague.
