After the finale of Suicide Forest on 17 January 2025, VILOU will hear the music of Jakub König, the composer of this production.
Jakub König is a Czech artist, author of comics, lyricist and songwriter. Since 1994, he has been the frontman of the band Giant Peach. He has also been on a solo track since 2011, when he created the Kittchen project. He also works as a singer and author of songs for the band Zvíře named Podzim. He is the recipient of 3 Anděl Music Awards (1 as Kittchen, 2 times as an Animal named Podzim).
In September 2023, Jakub released his first solo album Hvězdy at Animal Music, which was jointly produced by Petr Ostrouchov and Aid Kid. The genre-diverse record oscillates between dance electronics and psychedelic pop and offers several ways to deal with it live.

Suicide Forest // Kasha Jandáčková
A modern love story from the far too near future.
A story about Mařenka and Jeníček, but mainly about Mařenka, who was lost in the world for so long that she was lost inside herself. The city is full of lights and one is lured by the last promise of the undiscovered darkness. The number of flower pots into which we have driven the forest is constantly increasing, and we are saving the last sips of water for ourselves to quench our growing thirst.
A love Bermuda triangle in which the last traces of greenery are being lost. An uncompromising view of the future through the eyes of a young author and director Kasha Jandáčková for two actors and one musician. An apocalyptic suite in a rhythm that catches and crushes, for all those who have been weaned on the kind humor of Czech meadows and groves. He received nominations for music, female acting and scenography.
