Jakub TURAC Trio feat. Radovan TARIŠKA (PT/XK/JP/PH/SK) v Hogo Fogo

🎶 Jakub Turac Trio feat. Radovan Tariška in Hogo Fogo 🎷

An international project that unites Slovakia, Kosovo, Portugal, Japan and the Philippines brings a unique combination of cultures, sounds and emotions to Hogo Fogo.

The music of the Jakub Turac Trio moves on the border of modern jazz, improvisation and lyrical minimalism. Each member brings their own identity, musical language and energy to the common sound, creating an authentic and deeply personal musical dialogue.

The trio emphasizes communication, dynamism and spontaneous creativity, while drawing inspiration from the European and world jazz tradition.

Radovan Tariška is one of the most outstanding personalities of Slovak jazz and is considered one of the best alto saxophonists in the middle Europe.

As a leader and sideman, he worked in a number of international projects, collaborating with legends such as Benny Golson, Peter Erskine, Vincent Herring, JD Allen, Rick Margitza and Essiet Okon Essiet. He performs on the domestic stage with leading musicians across generations and is a regular guest of prestigious festivals in Europe and the USA.

He is the author of several original projects, leads his own groups and has a pedagogical effect on the young generation of Slovak jazzmen.
