Jamaica is the most typical of all Caribbean islands. You will get to know a captivating landscape with beautiful beaches, coral reefs, lush tropical vegetation, mountain scenery, rivers and waterfalls, ... but also unusual thermal baths. It is the island where the first among all pirates in the Caribbean - Captain Henry Morgan - ruled in the "world's most sinful city" Port Royal. The origin of reggae and ska, dreadlocks and eternal inspiration for independents. An island of the aroma of vanilla, coffee and rum, exotic fruits, Caribbean music, attractive "black gazelles", music magician and Rastafarian Bob Marley and the "alien" Usain Bolt. An island with the ubiquitous "intoxicating herb of truth" and the "poor man's friend" kaya, which here has dozens of names and the locals believe that it was given to people by God himself. An island whose national motto is "Cool Runnings" perfectly describes the mentality of its inhabitants. It is simply a place that Christopher Columbus himself considered to be the most beautiful of all that he discovered in the New World.
