Jamie XX released a new album after nine years. It will also present it in Prague
Jamie XX - producer, DJ and Beatmaker, who helped shape the sound of the first decades of this millennium, has a new album out! It will be presented on March 17, 2025 in the Karlín Forum. Jamie XX started on India with The XX, and his ability to combine India music with R&B and Dance ejected him among the visionaries of the electronic scene. It can progressive beats, sampling of vocals and is also an excellent remixer. In Waves, Jamie XX has published nine years and will perform for the first time in Prague, so do not miss his show. Finally. When the whole band The XX came to it years ago it was an incredible ride and the concert in the Karlín Forum was almost immediately sold out. Already at that time, The XX played some Jamie solo and then the responses were enthusiastic. Eight years later, Jamie XX will rise again in the same place. And not only is. His debut in Color was nominated for Grammy, Brit, Ivor Novello and Mercury Music Prize, and expectations were not small. Jamie devoted his work on the album for four years. It is a record in which the period of pandemic and moments of self -reflection is reflected. There is a newly discovered love for surfing as an escape from reality. It will evoke the same feelings as blinking into the stroboscope. It is an album that is on the best way to overshadow your high -end predecessor. Filmmakers Rosie Marks. This was followed by cooperation with Robyn on Life track and Oliver Sim and Roma Madley - teammates from The XX, who guest Jamie in the Waited All Night. All of these songs have one thing in common - they have foreshadowed the album in Waves. Full of joy and euphoria. And that's exactly what.
Don't miss the opportunity to hear her live!
