Jan Batysta: Modrá LEDka – fyzika a výroba

Jan Batysta is a graduate of the field of Optics and Nanostructures at the Faculty of Nuclear and Physical Engineering, and is currently studying for a doctorate at the same faculty. At the Institute of Physics, he works in the semiconductor department, where he works on the preparation of thin semiconductor structures. These can be used as a source of UV radiation, a detector, a super-fast transistor, or even a scintillator.

In addition to science, he also devotes himself to popularizing physics, writing song lyrics, big band and folk music, and occasionally packs a hammock and goes on a hike.
