Jan Kořínek & Groove 25 let ft. Chanda Rule

Jan Kořínek & Groove is a dynamic band that celebrates 25 years on the scene this year and still moves the audience with its combination of blues, jazz and soul. The band was founded by renowned Hammond organ player Jan Kořínek and has become a fixture on the music scene thanks to its groovy sound and energetic performances. Over the years, Kořínek has forged strong musical connections, including collaborations with the charismatic Welsh saxophonist Osian Roberts, the electrifying blues guitarist Jiří Maršíček and the brilliant drummer Oliver Lipenský. To celebrate their milestone anniversary, the band expanded their sound with two special guests: Chicago singer Chanda Rule and world-renowned drummer Michito Sanchez. Rule, who often collaborated with Kořínek, brings a deep gospel influence to the music, which perfectly connects with Kořínek's blues roots. Their collaborations on Sweet Emma Band albums such as Hold On and On Time represent a unique fusion of gospel, jazz, traditional spirituals and work songs.
