About event
A New Year's concert that connects the power of emotions and music and allows the audience to see the stories of songs that have significantly shaped the Slovak music scene for decades.
The concert will take place in the heart of the historic Old Market, where this time the stage will be placed in its center - that is, close to the audience.
Róbert Balzar Trio
One of the most prominent jazz groups in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. World-class musicians, known for their collaborations with Dan Bárt or John Abercrombie. Their musical participation will give the concert a unique atmosphere and style.
The combination of double bassist and jazz composer Róbert Balzar with the singer and author personality of Jana Kirschner is a unique project.
Róbert Balzar is known for his sensitivity to detail, improvisation and chamber atmosphere, while Jana Kirschner brings a strong author's handwriting, an emotional singing expression and the ability to connect genres from pop to folk to alternative music.
Evening guests
Jana Kirschner conceived her concert "Evening of the Three Kings" as a special musical evening with an exceptional atmosphere. The name refers not only to the period of the Three Kings, but also to the 3 musical guests she invited - the symbolic "three kings".
These three personalities are not only outstanding authors and performers, but each of them represents a unique approach to music and influences the direction of the music scene for a long time.
Jana Kirschner introduces her guests gradually during the evening, and each guest will also bring a symbolic musical gift.
