JANIS SIEGEL - YARON GERSHOVSKY

Janis Siegel, founder of Manhattan Transfer, and Yaron Gershovsky, musical director of the band for decades, present a very sweet show, The Colors of My Life, focused on one of the Jewels of the US songbook: Cy Coleman. Author of mythical music such as The Best is yet to eat, Whitchcraft and, yes, Playboy's head music (Playboy's Theme), both Gershovsky and Siegel have had a close relationship with the composer: he was the vocal arranger of the musical City of Angels and she one of the artists chosen to sing in the Kennedy Center of Washington To Coleman and his collaboration with the lyricists Alan and Marilyn Bergman. Between Broadway and Jazz, a subtle and exquisite night of vocal excellence.
