Do you also want to enjoy a relaxing spring day at the castle? 🌸🏰 Take your family to the JARmok event at Devín Castle full of games, theater and fun in the area of ​​the national cultural monument.

Experience an adventurous collection of small sweets for children, a theater performance, creative workshops, and activities about Danube nature in cooperation with conservationists, as well as a guided tour of the castle.

The event follows on from the previous year and symbolically opens the spring season at Devín Castle. Discounted admission until 10:00 a.m.: basic €5.00 (without basket), discounted €2.00 (parent, child and basket); after 10:00 the usual price list of Devín Castle applies.

The event is held in cooperation with the Municipal Council of Bratislava-Devín 🤝.

Programme:
09.15 – opening for collectors of small sweets
10.00 – start of the collection of small sweets (at the statue of the Slovanka)
11.00 – Divadlo Houže – About Janko and Marienka or Krutohustý forest
13.00 – BROZ children's workshop
15.00 – Devín, as you (don't) know him – guided tour

11:00 – About Janko and Marienka or Krutohustý les

Interactive family show full of humor, music and fantasy, which playfully tells the well-known fairy tale in a slightly different way. The audience, together with the heroes, will go into the dense forest, where unexpected meetings, adventure and a gentle lesson about courage and friendship await them.

1:00 p.m. – BROZ children's workshop

An interactive environmental program for children and families that brings the nature of the Danube closer to nature and the importance of protecting biodiversity in a playful way. It includes a short excursion with an explanation about animal grazing, creative activities, a large wooden puzzle of a large size, demonstrations of native fish species, themed tattoos and information booths with conservationists who will present the Danube wildlife and their work.

15:00 – Devín, as you (don't) know it

With the administrator Petra Palíková Kohútová, you will discover the hidden corners of the castle and uncover the fascinating stories that shaped its history. He will tell you interesting things about the life of the castle and its news, which often remain hidden from visitors.

The event follows on from the successful last year and will bring a day full of spring atmosphere, games and experiences for young and old.

(JAR)mok at Devín Castle is a family spring event full of games, theater and creative workshops in the unique environment of a national cultural monument. The program offers a traditional egg collection for children, a puppet show with live music, creative workshops, a guided tour and accompanying activities for young and old visitors. The event builds on the successful last year and symbolically opens the new season at Devín Castle in the spirit of spring, movement and a family atmosphere.
