JARU KALVODOVÁ - (ne)moc, aneb cesta k uzdravení - VERNISÁŽ

My name is Jamila, closest friends call me spring or Japanese dog Goro. Sometimes I also sign my works. I come from northern Moravia, from Těrlicko. I and my family have been anchored in Prostějov, where I have been living for over 20 years. In the nearby Kostelec na Hané I teach children at the 2nd level of elementary school creativity and art view of the world. It is extremely diverse, colorful and distinctive. Beautiful work! I have been creating since my youth, but the main theme found me only in July 2023 in the form of breast cancer. It came like a lightning bolt from the clear sky and I saw the opportunity in it! The deployment of hormonal treatment was followed by 2 surgery, 25 doses of radiation and convalescence in the magical Christmas of Františkovy Lázně. painting. From the first day of illness I write a diary from which I will read at the vernissage. The diary also has a pictorial attachment that documents my daily walking expeditions for health with friends who accompany me. On the canvas I recorded everyday and unusual moments of treatment that are essential for me. I painted what I lived, and all year and a half I lived with joy of work!
