“In this frozen old city of silver and stone”, Jason sang Isbell about Stockholm in the song of the same name. Fittingly, he returns to town on November 8. When winter is at the door again.
Isbell made a name for himself in the Americana scene as a member of the Drive-By Truckers. But it was as a solo artist that he would truly emerge as an artist beyond the ordinary, with a rare flair for careful songwriting and storytelling. Now he boasts as one of contemporary Americana music's absolutely most important and tone-setting artists.
