About event
A multidisciplinary artist specializing in music and cinema with a particularly intriguing, even disconcerting look, you were able to discover Jazmin Bean last September for the first time in France: her unparalleled alternative pop will resonate again this time at La Bellevilloise October 20, 2024!
Born and raised in North London, Jazmin Bean (iel) has set the bar for modern pop music, not only as a writer -performer-composer, but also as a multidisciplinary artist specializing in music and cinema with a particularly intriguing, even disconcerting, look. The multifaceted artist invites listeners to enter his unparalleled universe of alternative pop mixing pop with gothic or hiphop sounds, reminding us in turn of the worlds of Die Antwoord, Björk, Marilyn Manson, Nine Inch Nails and Billie Eilish.
Jazmin's first single, "Worldwide Torture", was released on YouTube in 2019. Since its release, the grassroots track has accumulated no less than 5.2 million views, cementing the status of Jazmin as a pioneer of non-binary pop.
Traumatic Livelihood, her very first album, was released last February: an opus worthy of Jazmin's universe.
