Jazz Dialogue: Libor Šmoldas & Nigel Price

Text by the organizer: The Jazz Dialogue U Staré paní concert series invites you to the very heart of music creation. As the name suggests, the main theme is dialogue - undirected, lively and fascinating communication between first-class musicians. Jazz is a conversation without words, and that's exactly what you can expect this evening.

Top British jazz guitarist Nigel Price, who combines modern jazz, swing and blues, will present himself in a unique combination with Czech guitarist Libor Šmoldas.

Nigel Price is one of the outstanding personalities of the contemporary British jazz scene. He became famous above all for his energetic, but at the same time extremely musical style of playing, which draws on the tradition of jazz guitar, swing and blues, but sounds completely simultaneous. He has collaborated with a number of top musicians, regularly performs concerts throughout Europe and is appreciated not only as a soloist, but also as a sensitive accomplice. His concerts are lively, playful and accessible to both jazz connoisseurs and listeners who simply want to enjoy jazz.
