About event
Paper Moon Trio will perform as part of the Jazz on the Roof series on the roof of jazz dock. It consists of Kristína Uhlíková (violin, vocals), Barbora Medeková (ukulele, vocals) and Andrea Kružliaková (guitar, vocals), which met in 2009 during the Orchestra of Bratislava Hot Serenaders. It was there that they acquired the technique of "Close Harmony", which is characteristic of their authentic submission of songs from 20-50. The 20th century.
all arrangements create themselves, inspired by original recordings and vocal groups such as The Boswell Sisters, The Mills Brothers and the Czechoslovak Trio Včelky or Allan's sisters. They performed at the Golden Age Festival or the Bratislava Jazz Days and in 2016 they won the Jazz Start Up. They released two albums: you will love (2018) and Jazz will be (2024), which celebrates their ten -year work and legacy of Czechoslovak vocal tria. From May to September, a smaller chamber set will perform on the roof of Jazz Dock every Saturday afternoon to please the peaceful summer atmosphere of jazz.
