Jazz on the Roof: Petra Ernyei Trio

Jazz singer Petra Ernyei returns to the Jazz Dock roof.

The concert will bring a unique musical meeting of Czech and Israeli musicians and at the same time start a new international collaboration. The evening will combine jazz, Brazilian music, Jewish musical inspirations and spontaneous improvisation. Petra Ernyeiová has been dedicated to jazz and swing for many years and has performed, for example, with P. Klikar's OPSO and the Prague Swing Orchestra. She also founded the Petra Ernyei Quartet, whose characteristic sound she captured on the album !So Many Stars!. In his current work, he combines jazz and Jewish roots. Together with guitarist Adam Tvrdy and bassist Petr Dvorský, she recorded the album To jsem já as a tribute to Jewish authors. In addition to concert activities, she is engaged in concert production, teaching work and is the founder of the Night of Singers.

Jazz Dock presents a series of concerts called Jazz on the Roof. On the roof of the Jazz Dock every summer Saturday, a smaller chamber ensemble will perform.
