Do you love early Black Sabbath albums? Do you like jazz? Are you not afraid of musical experiments and do you like to have fun with music? In that case, you should not miss the extraordinary event that will take place on Wednesday, September 16 at the Exhibition Center in Prague, where the English jazz trio JAZZ SABBATH will perform.
The founding member is Adam Wakeman (son of Yes keyboardist Rick Wakeman), who also played with Black Sabbath themselves as a keyboardist between 2004 and 2017, and of course you may also know him from Ozzy Osbourne's band, where he spent the last 20 years. JAZZ SABBATH actually came about by accident, after one of the Black Sabbath concerts during the tour, when Adam got excited in the hotel bar by one of the crew to play some old Sabbath songs on the piano. He ended up playing them to great success until the morning until he was kicked out by security. The jazz arrangements of the immortal songs of the Birmingham gods are very daring. So, if you are also brave, you have a Christmas present taken care of. The concert will take place as an open air in the beautiful space of the Gauč dance hall, right next to the Stromovka park, and will therefore end at 10:00 p.m., after which the security guards will kick you out.
JAZZ SABBATH have recorded 3 studio albums over the past five years, which this year was supplemented by a live double album. Sold-out concerts around the world and enthusiastic reviews in the jazz and rock media promise more than an extraordinary experience.
