About event
Sextet Jazz Volunteers was formed from the long-term cooperation between Martin Jůzel and Filip Kučera. The motive was on the one hand the love for Cannonball Adderley's music, and on the other hand the feeling of the absence of this music on the Czech jazz scene.
Hard bop with distinctive elements of Cannonball's blues and soul form a unique line, which "JV" decided to build on and develop in their own way. Jůzl and Kučera invited musicians working across genres to identify with their vision.
Martin Jůzl - trumpet
Filip Kučera - saxophone
Jiří Žák - saxophone
Daniel Fiedler - piano
Antonín Šturma - double bass
Martin Kuzma - drums
