About event
KOOB
KOOB - vocals (BY)
Wolle - keys (DE)
Seth Sjöström - electric bass (SE)
Lenny Rehm - drums (DE)
KOOB is the Berlin quartet led by Belarusian-born singer and composer Valeryia Dele, whose voice is praised for its rawness, wide emotional range, and technical precision. Now, KOOB premieres Off Head, their new album — the result of two years of work, observation, and recording. The album captures KOOB at full tilt: unfiltered emotion, razor-sharp musicianship, and a refusal to sit still.
“Berlin-based KOOB returns with Off Head, the electrifying longplay released in June this year — a project already shaping up to be one of 2025’s most compelling jazz statements.” — Notion Magazine
“Blending avant-jazz, experimental soul, and improvisational chaos, KOOB channels emotional burnout and urban anxiety into a cathartic sonic experience.” — LOCK Magazine
Skyline Sun
Jarrah Dhyan - guitar
Paul Hoyle - electric bass
Matthew Shapiro - keys
Dylan Hunter Chee Greene - drums
Exploding out of the colourful, ever-changing Berlin scene, Skyline Sun is the musical moniker of Australian producer and guitarist Jarrah Dhyan.
"He has successfully encapsulated a vehement blend of dance, funk, and jazz fusion within his brand of music.” Austin Sher, We Write About Music (USA)
Skyline Sun explores experimental sounds, odd time signatures and rhythmically complex grooves while casting a critical eye upon our political and social landscape.
His latest album, Dichotomy is a musical journey that confronts the intricate web of deceit woven by those in power. Resonating with a sense of disillusionment it challenges people to question the narratives presented by mainstream media, governments, and corporations.
