JazzFest 2025 - Danielle Wertz (USA) Quartet

Master artist ballad and semifinalist of the International Jazz Singing Competition Thelonious Monk International Jazz Vocal Competition 2015, Danielle Wertz, is awarded artist on the rise. This singer, songwriter and arranger living in New York combines elements of jazz, folk and without verbal vocal textures to create an intimate and personal musical world. It is described as "non -compared to music policy" and compared to pioneers such as Gian Slater, Norma Winstone, Sara Serpa and Theo Bleckmann. Later on the same year, Danielle became the finalist of the jazz singing competition Elly Fitzgerald and the Central-Ocean (Mid-Atlantic) jazz vocal competition, further consolidating the reputation of the rising star in the jazz singing community. Musician collaborator and pedagožka in the Bay Area area. She performed in SFJAZZ, Black Cat, Throckmorton Theater, Art Boutiki and West Oakland Sessions Creative Music Series. She has worked on seven albums of California musicians, including Rebirth - Javier Santiago (2020), Unknown Dameron: Rare and Never Recorded Works of Tadd Dameron - Paul Combs / Summit Records (2019), Spectrum - Aaron Janik (2021) and The Crazy Dog - Raffa Garabedian (2024). There was separately accepted to provide support to students of classical singing who are interested in cooperation with the instrumental jazz department. This project was made by a quantum leap as a composer and conceptualist. The album, which was created during the pandemic, connects her compositions with carefully created arrangements of the Standards from Great American Song. She appeared on the latest album Remy Pobeuf, Heartland Radio, was the main star in The Jazz Gallery, Soapbox Gallery and Room 623 and recently arrived from California with her latest co -worker Tal Yahalom to travel along the Pacific Coast, including two sold out concerts in San Francis. In April 2025, she released a new plate with Remy Libref & The Nordkraft Big Band (Denmark) and has been looking forward to her first European tour from September 2025.
