About event
Concert performed by three top and iconic protagonists of the Slovak jazz scene: Sisa MichalidesovΓ‘, Pavel Bereza and Robert VizvΓ‘ri. The compositions of Sisa Michalides, the interpretation and improvisational dynamics, as well as the virtuoso performances of VizvΓ‘ri and Berez offer the listener a powerful experience.
A sense for harmonizing and interpreting various musical influences and styles β primarily jazz, but also inspired by elements of world music to theatrical imagination β is a kind of essence of this trio.
The meeting of these three musicians is not accidental. It was preceded by multiple collaborations during recording, which the musicians completed in larger or smaller domestic and international jazz ensembles. In addition, they performed together at concerts and festivals at home and abroad. Human and musician (co)cognition, mutual creation in dialogue and musical experience brought them together. In a small cast, a big idea was born to provocatively and alternatively bring the scale and boom in the colors of musical instruments to the scene. Here we can perceive the fascinating depths of the bass guitar, the acoustic originality, the technical and interpretive maturity of the guitar instrumentation, up to the bright playfulness and invention of the recorder.
