About event
In September, the new opening section of the Archeology of Czech Jazz Modernism 1948-1969 will be opened with examples of its swing foreground years of war years. In the kaleidoscope we will commemorate the 90th birthday of the soul-jazz pianist and singer Les McCanna, homage to saxophonist Branford Marsalis to this year's 80th birthday of Keith Jarrett; Trumpeter Ron Miles will play with guitarist Bill Frisell this time in a quartet cast, and we will also commemorate the opening concert of this year's Jazz Piano Craig Taborna festival. The conclusion will belong to the traditional September memory of Miles Davis - left 34 years ago.
