Oscar Wilde's play called It's important to have Philip is a conversational comedy with elements of satire and masterful dialogues full of irony, sarcasm, paradoxes and aphorisms, which has been a huge success in theaters around the world.
Two typical English gentlemen from the end of the nineteenth century play with the real truth in order to bring at least a little excitement into their quiet lives. This will also be welcomed by two bored young ladies who have a clear idea of their future husbands - Cecília and Gwendolína. The fate of one is controlled by the strict and domineering mother Lady Bracknell, and the life of the other is in the hands of the educator Miss Prism, who, in addition to textbooks, always has a grain of wisdom at hand. Not even the dignified Mr. Frederick or the silent servants Merriman and Lane are surprised at what is happening in the house of the English cream.
At first glance, an ideal life, but when they all meet under one roof, everything changes. The mysterious Mr. Bunbury and the charming Filip enter the plot, and the innocent conversation game becomes a detective.
