15. March 2024
Prague, Chapeau Rouge (Jakubská 2)
The French trio is T'Aime (DBoy, Tall Bastard and Crazy Z.) for five years to develop between the front names of the European post-punk. The melancholic and trampled fetus of sweet France was pleased with the heart of the fans of the cult of the cult Manchester publishing house The Factory with its debut album. But the right was only with the release of a great double album "Passive/Agressive". This will be confirmed by anyone who has seen their fantastic show in Prague in 2021, when we first brought them to Bohemia as part of Prague Gothic Treffen. And exactly as we assumed, their star has been going up since then. In short, the trio matures like a bottle of good Bordeaux. After all, come to see for yourself in Chapeau Rouge. Indeed, the name of their debut album "Two Punk and Disc Magician" tells about many. Mr Cody Barcelona and Ian Volt are incurred by the uncompromising mixture of post-punk, wave and sometimes almost EBM influences, connect dance beats, analog synths, a living guitar with bass and minimalist lyrics in German. In three years of existence, they managed to perform in more than 17 countries, to perform at many festivals (including the Wave Gothic Treffen) and even get the attention of Iggy Pop, who included them in his program on the BBC Radio 6. But you'd rather check this dirty post -punk essence of Berlin yourself.
