Twenty years ago, a formative essay was published in the New York Times magazine called The Rap Against Rockism by journalist Kelef Sanneh, who unleashed the so -called demand in musical journalism. Ten years ago, the alternative label PC Music came up with the Hey QT project, in which this idea of the ad absurd was put into practice. A group of musicians and musicians recorded an album, but presented as a fictitious advertising campaign for a fictional drink. This is long ago the convergence of high and low in Anglo -American music began. But this trend came to the Czech Republic only a few years ago and still evokes emotions.
Music journalist Aneta Martínková looks at how this cultural movement flies into Czech music. What is actually considered high and low in our music? There will also be beer rock, socialist pop and analysis of Shitstorm around the composition 7Teen Mata213.
