Jedno Ucho: Selected Ambient Works Volume II – Aphex Twin w/ Hroch & Adámek, New Magic Media

Another edition of listening evenings one ear will be dedicated to Aphex Twin and his album Selected Ambient Works II. The album follows its famous selected Ambient Works 85-92, but the two are more terrible and psychedelic. In the interviews, Aphex Twin liked to say that the album was supposed to evoke feelings like "when you stand inside the power plant (on the acid) and growls around". Ambient alleviates stress in the city, but in the countryside - as in Aphex's native Cornwall - such music can act horror. As Sawii reads after thirty years music journalist Miloš Hroch and illustrator Štěpán Adámek, who will provide a brief introduction to “Aphexology” and also baptize their new zin. The listening will include the exhibition and a special Aphex set from New Magic Media. He also liked to invent, confusing journalists and the public: he talked about the fact that his own submarine or studio in the tank, once in the club played in the club from two sounded grinding discs and had a blender attached. In the "Aphex" mythology, it is interesting to decipher to this day and the artist Štěpán Adámek with music journalist Milos Hroch is going to it in the new Zina, which is the free continuation of their Pet Shop Boys. Aphex Twin sometimes sounds like a pleasant growling power plant, sometimes as a crumbling reality - it is always a pupil expanding meeting. Come On, Let's Have Some APhex Acid.
