Jedovaté rostliny v zahradách a parcích – akreditovaný seminář a webinář

The seminar and the webinar will introduce participants to poisonous plant species they can normally meet in their surroundings, both in the wild and in the public or private space of municipalities. However, it is not always necessary to start disposing of these plants. It is advisable to know the basic types and for some consider their use in planting in public space, especially around courses or school facilities. If we know them, we find that they are often very aesthetic, medicinal or otherwise useful. Participants will learn what the main groups of toxins are, which can be plants for humans but also dangerous animals, which plants are most toxic. Poison plants contain chemicals that can cause harmful or toxic effects in humans, animals or even other plants. These substances may be present in leaves, flowers, fruits, roots or stems. The lecturer will also explain the principles of first aid and the issue of allergic reactions. Furthermore, the lecturer will present the principles of prevention of possible poisoning by plants not only in relation to various age groups. An important part of the training will be the recommendation of professional literature to study and give examples from practice in nature and care for public greenery, and there will also be discussions about specific cases from the practice of training.
