About event

An author's production based on the prison diary of Belarusian anarchist Igor Olinevič.

Igor Olinevič was sentenced to eight years in prison in 2011. Like a number of other anarchist and anti-fascist activists in Russia and Belarus, he became a victim of state power, which has a habit of using the anti-authoritarian movement as a deterrent whenever it needs to silence civil society and democratic opposition. Whether it is mass arrests and torture or the destruction of human destinies in fabricated trials. The production is straddling two worlds. Between the torturous gray of life in Lukashenka's Belarus (and the even more killing timelessness of the Minsk remand prison) and a fictional world full of heroic deeds in the fight between good and evil, he is tossed around like Olinevich himself - an "anarcho-partisan" by night, an electrical engineer and a gamer by day LARP. In his diary, he describes the practices of the Belarusian prison system, based not only on brutal physical violence, but also primarily on sophisticated psychological coercion, forcing prisoners to question their own will and conscience and lose trust in their closest friends. In December 2021, Igor Olinevič, together with other resistance fighters Sergey Romanov, Dmitry Dubovsky and Dmitry Rezanovich, was again sentenced to twenty years in prison.

Divadlo 3+KK, the organizer of the event, donates CZK 300 from the benefit ticket to support for political prisoners in Belarus through the Anarchist Black Cross Belarus.
