The singer Barbora Piešová, the winner of the SuperStar singing competition, and the musician Jerguš Oravec, also known as the headliner of the band Le Payaco and the author of several musical projects, are going on a joint acoustic tour this April called "On the right path". However, their connection was not started by music, but by their dogs. When their four-legged companions became friends, Barbora and Jerguš started going for walks together. The conversations gradually turned into joint musical ideas and they soon discovered that their work together naturally works.
The result of this spontaneous collaboration is a new EP, from which individual singles are gradually released. These new songs, together with other compositions, will be presented to the fans on the upcoming tour. Only two musicians - Barbora Piešová and Jerguš Oravec - will perform on stage in purely acoustic form. The goal is to offer the audience an authentic concert experience that, despite the minimalist cast, will bring full musical energy and atmosphere.
"We want to show people that even two musicians can create a concert that is full of emotion, energy and powerful music. The acoustics allow us to be even closer to the audience," say the artists.
Both performers have extensive musical experience behind them. After winning SuperStar, Barbora Piešová also performs in collaboration with various well-known musicians, including Marián Čekovský. Jerguš Oravec has been a prominent figure of the Slovak music scene for many years, in addition to the band Le Payaco, he is involved in several musical projects and original works.
