JERIES ABUJABER: IF ONLY I´D FORGET YOU AFTER ONE LAST DANCE

Jeries AbuJaber's performance is a master's project with which he completes his directing studies at the Department of Author and Puppet Theater of DAMU. Through movement, video and the examination of concrete objects, he locates the friction between political pain and personal loss. Jeries returns to the memories of her life in Palestine and searches for a way to communicate the unspeakable, while immersing herself in her body, the epicenter of all the overlapping narratives. He offers himself to move us to the rhythm of his heart.

The performance is followed by a concert by Husam Abed and Cyril Kaplan Xadrez.
