Jesenný festival 2025

ZOO Bratislava invites you to an autumn weekend full of experiences, which will take place from Friday 24th to Sunday 26th October. Every afternoon from 3 p.m. the ZOO grounds will be transformed into a place full of lights, pumpkins and a creative autumn mood.

The weekend program will start every day at 3:00 p.m. with the carving of pumpkins on the playground near the Plameniak buffet. Children and adults will be able to create their own autumn decorations based on animal designs, while they will also be helped by a skilled zoo guide.

At 4:30 p.m., everyone will go on a mysterious lantern march through the Carpathian forest to the wolf enclosure - the atmosphere will be complemented by lantern lights, music and the smell of autumn.

On Sunday at 3:30 p.m. o'clock, the program will be extended by a special experiential reading for children performed by the Girl Without an Ermine, which will bring a fairy tale full of humor, fantasy and a nice message. Throughout the weekend, there will be music, creations, blankets for warming up and, of course, guided animal feedings.

Important information for visitors:

• Lanterns can be purchased in the ZOOshop, they are only allowed with an LED light.
• The number of pumpkins is limited - it is recommended to bring your own, after the event the animals in the ZOO will receive them.

• It is necessary to bring your own carving tools.
