Jesenný kozmozraz

🍁 We invite you to the Autumn Cosmopolitan organized by the Slovak Organization for Space Activities (SOSA). This time we will meet in the premises under the library in the Municipal Library in Bratislava.

🛰️ The "supernova" of the program will be the chairman of SOSA and director of the company Spacemanic, Jakub Kapuš, who will come to the library with a lecture focused on the newest and so far the largest Slovak satellite, GRBBeta. Visitors can look forward to interesting information about the creation of this satellite, its equipment and the tasks that await it in orbit in the coming years. And who knows, maybe we'll learn about GRBBet as well as "little bits" that the layman's ears haven't heard yet!

🌕The second half of the program will be devoted to the Apollo program, conspiracies connected with the first human landing on the moon and space conspiracy theories in general. We will talk to Juraj Petrovič, a lawyer and musician, who after working hours turns into the biggest "nerd" 🤓 and an enthusiast of the Apollo program. He also deals with the topic of space and new technologies as an editor of the magazine .tíždeň

✨The Slovak Organization for Space Activities (SOSA) has been engaged in scientific and popularization activities in the field of astronomy and cosmonautics for 15 years. It actively organizes lectures, popularizing events such as night sky observations and Kosmozrazy to raise awareness of space and promote public interest in this fascinating field. At the same time, the association constantly strives for the development of space technologies and the support of space research in Slovakia. Among its greatest achievements is the design, development and launch of the first Slovak satellite, skCUBE.

The entrance fee will be on a voluntary basis and will support the activities of our civic association.

See you on Wednesday, October 23 in the premises "Under the library" of the Municipal Library in Bratislava at Kapucínská 1 (Entrance is also from Klariska 16) 🚀
